Here's another link on the rear speakers taps with pic's.

Does DSP still function using LOC's?
It seems to me that it would not, since the processed DSP signal is being "de-processed" by the LOC - so changing the DSP settings on the NAV screen would have no effect.
Of course, I could be completely wrong. I'm admittedly pretty (well, incredibly) ignorant when in comes to how DSP works. |
It depends on where you place the LOC's. If you use Janix way, you use a number of LOC's in order to preserve the signal AFTER the DSP. I just used a single LOC before the DSP, but had to tap into the rear speaker output from the "head unit (in the wheel well)."
and my condolences about selling the '95 M3. |
Thanks. Still in mourning
That clears up the LOC issue - Thanks!
My '95 M3 was nearly PERFECT. It had factory LTW wheels, LTW strut tower brace, LTW lower x-brace, LTW adjustable front splitter, euro floating rotors and braided steel brake lines. Factory euro clear head and tailights. Only interior mod was a lighted wooden M3 shift knob and the AC Schnitzer short shift linkage. Drivetrain mods: Dinan cold air induction, euro HFM, Dinan throttle body, extrude honed and jet-hot coated exhaust manifold, Dinan exhaust, Dinan chip to go with all of that, 3.38LSD, Alpina finned aluminum differential cover with custom stone guard, Dinan lightened flywheel & clutch. Suspension mods: euro springs, bilstein HD's, UUC adjustable front & rear swaybars. GAWD I loved that car - one of the fastest NA M3 around. It was unbelievable in the mountains. I was only driving it maybe 20 miles/month and I didn't have covered storage for it, so I really DID have to sell it - but it still sucks. :bawling: |
