Replacing tires

Hey guys, I wanted to switch my 19'' sports for the 20 4.6 style. my question is when i go into get the car checked out and eventually run down the rubber on these 20's, will the dealership replace the tires on the 20's under my complete care agreement? or does that only apply to the sport 19's?

tires aren't covered under maintenance, is that what you're referring to as "complete care agreement"?

Go to tirerack.com for tires. I ordered mine on 04/11 and had them by the afternoon on 04/12. Great service

:iagree: Tirerack is by far the best place to go: 1) you'll get the absolute best price on almost anything you buy there, 2 ) you have a huge selection to choose from and 3) you'll get everything the NEXT day, almost instant gratification!

I agree with you about MOST tires, but for tires to fit the X5 20" wheels, you have 3 choices at the Rack- the OEM Michelins (over $300 per tire), Continentals (don't ever, EVER buy these, unless you want to buy them again within 20,000 miles), and Yokohoma Advans which just came on the market recently.

Anyone buying 20" tires for the X5 should look elsewhere in addition to tirerack, otherwise you're missing out on the Toyos and Pirellis.

I agree with you 100%. It pays to shop around. I was just amazed at how fast I got the tires shipped to me from tirerack. I am in California, so they only had to come from Nevada.

There is a fourth choice with the Toyo ST's, but unfortunately, Tire Rack does not distribute Toyo's. You'll need to get them somewhere else.

I have heard good things about them. Right now, with the month-old purchase of my 4.6, it came with new Michelins which, so far, I like a lot.
