Welcome Chas - you have great taste in vehicles!!!

BruinMan 04-17-2006 07:36 PM

Thanks for the warm welcome, I sure feel good hanging out here.

The color is Titanium Silver Mettallic with a black leather interior. I wanted Black on Black and the last second changed to Silver.
I actually bought the X5 on the 6th, but it is schedule to be here on the 18th. I am guessing not normal for a West coast guy buying a car from the East. I'll die if it rusts on me, because my budget was for a 2001 X5.
Then I seen some 2002 and liked the rear seat adjustments. Then I found a 2003 4.6is - WOW!! But the miles were high and those tires are $1600 to replace. Anyhow more later.
O yea - I am an UCLA grad. - but I am not a kid. lol 44 years old.

congrats ur gonna love the X.

YankeeBimmer 04-17-2006 07:49 PM

Congrats&Welcome! The X will not be a she when you put the 20's!

BruinMan 04-17-2006 07:56 PM

Ha! No 20's for me. I actually drive my car about 25,000 a year. My company pays for my rubber, but will do a freak on me for replacements each year and a half.
I do envy the guys that have the 20's on this board. I will say I really really really love the 87's and the new 4.8is wheels. They are so hot.
