do the back seats....
 

In the X5. do the back seats have a light underneath them i mean like if you were to sit in the back seat and someone would open the door, is there supposed to be a light right under the seat on the little wall..

idk if i am making myself clear, but hopefully someone understnad or then i will post pics because i dont have it and i saw one of my friends X that has it ....

there are 2 lights under the seats

i dont have that in mine. do you think theres something wrong, they forgot or something ???

it might be part of a package thats not on the car, plus you don't need them

yeah i dont need them but just noticed so thought i would ask.. naa me and him have the same exact car , same packages, sm year... its really weird .

but wait he doenst have heated rear seats

maybe that makes up for it.

Hmmm interesting. Maybe it's model specific. I have an X5.4.4 no heated seats and the lights are there.

The rear 2 lights are only on the 4.4i, 4.6is, and 4.8is models. No lights on 3.0i, regardless of what package you have.
Edited: some 3.0i owners seem to have these 2 lights in the footwell. I am wondering if they have the Auto-Dimming Mirrors option as my MY03 3.0 did not.

that can't be, the person i know has the 3.0....

What year is his X5? I had an MY03 3.0i and it didn't have those lights, and it had all the packages, minus the Cold Weather.
