X5 new car key activation
 

I ordered 2 car keys from my dealer. Both of them work on opening doors and starting the engine. But none of them can lock and unlock doors and trunk. Please help.

Hi i had a similar problem the push buttons wouldn't open or lock anything turns out the dealer had ordered the wrong frequency key transmitters my car is european and they ordered north american. Check on the back of your new keys it will have a frequency stamped on them i think NA is 315Mhz and europe 433 Mhz it may be this .Good luck
