front 255/50 R19 103V rear 285/45 R19 107V that's what i need. i found like toyos $174 front /$196 rear (toyos are not from tirerack. just here for pricing purposes) pirellis for $175/$218 yoko advan 197/215 michelin 227/243 are these legit prices? i'm obviously going for more budget, but of quality. are these good/fair/bad prices? if fair/bad, what other shops are out there? |
I recently purchased the yoko advan and those prices look legit to me. The general opinion is either the Toyo's or Yoko's as replacements.
tirerack had toyo's?
I couldn't find Toyos at tirerack before either.
sorry, the toyo's were from my friend's store. my fault. i copied and pasted that from an email. are toyo's ok? and if so, is that price ok, too?
i just ordered a set of Toyo's and am waiting for
their arrival. a couple people here have them and have had great things to say about them. yes, the price u were quoted for the Toyo's is good. |
geez, with SF's gas prices at 3.45 a gallon, i ask myself, do i REALLY want to drive?
Of course you do, that's why you got an X5! I don't mind driving, I just hate circling for parking spaces
If your X5 will see any bit of snow (e.g. going to Tahoe, etc.), then your only choices are Pirelli Scorpion Asimmetrico Zero or the Toyos.
I have the Pirelli's and it sticks well in the dry, does well in the rain, and will keep you out of trouble for light snow use. Quote:

Conti is suppose to have some new SUV tires.
