My Tires Are In!!!!

I just got the phone call and I'm on my way to drop off the truck!
If everything goes smoothly I will post pictures later on.
I wanted to do other mod's first (before i put the tires and wheels on) but I'm impatient!!:rofl:

i knew once eurotech called this morning, murphy's law was about to kick in.

becky (really nice, btw) informed me the wrong lugs were sent out. she is sending new ones and in the interim, use the ones i currently have.

OK.

fast forward: kenny calls (where i ordered the michelins) and tells me, "the rims and tires are on the X ... it looks awesome, but, there is a problem."

two of the rims were damaged while being shipped out.
the UPS box and the Eurotech box clearly had gashes on it.

I called them (Eurotech) immediately and told them the problem.

Their customer service is superb, bar none.

i told becky i took off from work today to get this done and my seventeen's are in storage.
i will be traveling the next couple of days and i'll be back in town next monday.
Furthermore, i need my car. I can't afford to miss another day from work...blah blah blah.
In good faith she trusts that i'll return the damaged rims, once i get the fresh pair.

I am bummed, but that's my luck. However, there are far worse problems in the world than two damaged rims.

next up: clear tail lights and clear side markers. (waiting for delivery)

soon: RB's

eventually: headlights with Xenon and angel eyes. I really, really want Euro clears. I hear it's difficult for my year. :(

This is the first pic I've seen of the 4.8is wheels on a non-facelifted X5. It looks great! :)
