Hi,

Does anyone know if its possible to switch of the safety screen that comes on if your watching TV and start to move ?

No, that wouldn't be wise ! I sit in alot of traffic and like to watch some TV while waiting. But when you are nudging forward all the time, the tv goes on and off, which is what I'm trying to avoid.

It's quite easy; just wire one of your video wires to a ground wire. That should do it. Not reccommeneded (saftey precaution). TV signals also break in and out unless you have a strong signal.

Thanks, but I was hoping for a less intrusive solution, looks like I may just have to put up with it !

Actually it's not quite that easy. You need a module that will intercept the i-bus signal that turns the video on and off, depending on the speed of the vehicle.

I got the BMW02TV lead as it also allows you to select a different audio source while watching the TV....useful if you run a DVD player with the audio through the stereo
