Error - EEPROM-KI
 

Hi everyone,

I got an error message today. This is second time.

Does anybody have any idea what EEPROM-KI means?

I hope it's not a big problem.

Here is a update on "EEPROM-KI" also I had couple of problems.

1) Transmission hesitation problem.
Techinicain thought that they reprogramed wrong chip when they did first time. There are two kind of chip for X5, I don't know what they are. After they reprogramed my X5, it is totally different car. Transmmision works as smooth as silk.

2) They replaced driver side door handle and steering wheel cover. They look good.

3) EEPROM-KI.
Telchinician replace entire instrument cluster unit. I noticed something next day. Chrome ring !!!

It took me about a month to make them do it.
