I had seen it at the NY auto show i really dont like the look of it... looks cheap in person.

Have not seen it in person...and I don't really care if I see one or not...it just does not grab me the same way an Audi A8 does...it seems Audi is late to the party. What do we have here?--a vehicle in search of a niche, perhaps?

If I want to wear my ice on my neck, I can get a Range Rover or go big pimpin' in a 'Slade. If I want a luxo-ute with great handling, it's in the driveway already. If I want a great minivan, the Honda Odyssey does everything this Audi can do. Seven seats and towing capacity--Yukon. If I want off road, there is the Tou....Toua...Touareg (that was not easy to spit out :tsk: ). If I want a big-ass Euroluxo-ute with seven seats and towing capacity, MB has the new GL450. Dunno...maybe they will sell a ton of them. Anybody who gets one, tell us what we are missing...

not on the band wagon....the thing looks like a mini van...i think the only truck i would drive over my x5 is a Cayenne Turbo S....when i was shopping for an suv...nothing really floated my boat...not even the range rover everyone talks about. toureg was a consideration...realized....it just wasnt a bimmer.

I had a test drive in the Q7 yesterday. Audi UK have brought in 4 Q7's from Holland to let the punters get a test drive.

You can see a vast difference in the Q7 to the X5 re comestics it looks much more modern in the cabin than that of the X but then the X was styled a few years back.

You need to see this car in the flesh if I was to buy it would be the S line which comes in at just over 40k the reverse camera is bto die for jeez i would buy the car for that along. no to mention the sat/nav and bose sound system. BMW beware I would say

BMW has designed the new X5 considering the competition as Q7 and Cayenne. I am sure that the Q7 does not handle anything like X5.

Hey - I have an Audi A6 - and I can say one thing - There is no parallel to the Audi interior(unless you pay 100k+ for those maseratis)

Think before you type - Anybody who uses an Audi/Porche here will bite you of you even start comparing a BMW with Audi.

Interiors only...

Its a different story when it comes to driving though :)

Anybody who says Audi interior "cheap" compared to BMW, then you dont know cars
