does anyone have tech docs on removing the radio and dash board in order to hook up ipod interface or xm radio. been looking for good source.

Item 24 in the STEREO section on the home page describes how to remove the radio unit. I'm not sure why you want to remove the dash too :confused:

When I was trying to run my Valentine One/Stealth One wiring behind the dash, I could understand wanting to remove the whole damned thing!

Having some sort of "fish tape" to put into the radio hole and out to the footwell makes life much easier. I used an old worn-out retractable tape measure. I cut the metal hook off the end so it wouldn't get hung up on anything. When it was protruding into the footwell, I taped my wire to the end of the metal tape, and carefully pulled back through the hole in the dash.

Was actually much easier to do than describe.

so the only thing holding the factory radio in is the one bolt behing the volume knob?

It's a latch. Seems to work quite well too.
