Gonna paint my Door handles. quick question first
 

Look at this diagram

Does part 7 just pop off? Or is it screwed in from behind?

Does the door handle come off without removing the door panel or does it screw in from behind?

Part 7 DOES pop off. Just gently use a flat head screwdriver and it should come off relatively easily.

The door panel does need to be removed as the handles are screwed into a bracket (part 8, I believe) on the back of the panel.
