AngeliBrights Bugs?

Dave,
I thought the ibrights are basically an "UPGRADE" from the OEM AE?

If that's the case, do you know why only the iBright blinks but not the OEM AEs?
Are there BUGs?
or the iBrights are not designed to prevent the blinking when start up?

Since you mentioned that there is a FIX for whose iBrights blink on both passenger and driver side, I believe there should be a fix on driver side only? (Aren’t they all AngeliBrights?)

Since you keep saying I am the only UNIQUE case cause you have no idea on how the BMW done the wiring to my X5, I am afraid that more UNIQUE cases will be discovered after they purchase the AngeliBrights. The BMW owner will never know if she/he is one of the UNIQUE cases like me.

here is the video...

I'm sorry to hear about your problems. I hope you get it resolved soon. Please update us with what Dave does for you.

blackpig,
As I have said before these are unique cases with only a few X5s.

Yes the iBright is an upgrade for OEM, but obviously it uses different technology. The microprocessor in the ballast that powers the iBrights is designed to integrate properly and safely with the current Angel Eye wiring that BMW provided, and not cause any error message on the OBC.

It is a very odd issue since they are only blinking on one side and only for a second or so when the car is turned on. We developed a fix for those very few that blink on both sides, but this did not work for you. BMW chose to wire some of their X5s differently, and this makes it difficult to diagnose a problem, and come up with a solution.

We will continue to work on this issue and try to come up with a solution, and update you to our progress along the way.

Wait a minute...you sell someone a set of $300 iBright that does not seem to be compatible with this vehicle (flickering), instead of offering him a replacement or a solution (at least none that I've seen), you want to push another set of the "new and improved" product on him? Am I the only one seeing this?
