Staggered m68s on an X5?
 

Since I've replaced my Z3 with the X5 I have a set of staggered OEM m68 wheels wearing summer rubber... the front is 17x7.5, rear: 17x8.5 I believe. Could I use these as winter wheels? Or would that cause bad things to happen? It's kind of a hassle to try to get rid of these, and I'd like to just get winter rubber to put on them for next year... but not sure if the staggered setup would work very well, plus can I even mount m68s given the offset? I believe the front is 42mm, and rear 51mm...

Has anyone done this?
