Adding a subwoofer to a Stock Radio
I like to preserve the stock radio. Has anyone tried going to a shop to add just a subwoofer and amp? Any problems? Or would I just need to bite the bullet and change the deck too? I really dont want to change the dash....

Do a search for "subwoofer".

I agree, just do a search on subwoofers, adding subwoofers, whatever subwoofers and grab a cold one, you're going to have a lot of reading to do.
Here's a link from under the Stereo section on the main page that'll get you started: http://www.xoutpost.com/articles/x5/s...ctory-amp.html |
I have a JL 12W6v2 added with a 500/1 to my stock system. Sounds awesome...

Thx. |
I have the exact set up with DSP. I wish Sound In Motion make more of those custom subwoofer boxes like they for Janix, so interest buyers like ourselves can grab one :).

Can I add a small sub for around $200-300?
I don't need a lot of bass just a little more than the stock. If yes what do you suggest I get? |
