urgent Help needed
hi,
I have changed my oem stereo for an Alpine unit. The problem am having is i can't find the aerial connector for the radio. Can anyone help with this? thanks |

This might sound funny but use a piece of 18-22 gauge wire (18inch long) and in strip off about 3/4 inch of shielding at one end and insert it into the alpine antenna.
Make sure the exposed wire only touches the center of the antenna. You will probably have to secure the wire by taping or tiestrapping it to the alpine harness to stop it from falling out. I ve done this on tons of cars where the antennas have been busted off. Or you could do it the non halfass way and buy an extention and run it to the tuner in the trunk below the spare. You might need an adapter to.( cheap and easy to find ) Good luck :thumbup: |
Yup youre right, the tuner and antenna feed are in the boot under the tyre.
