AC Schnitzer pedals installed

Well after finally finding the right screws at a marine shop, I was able to install these pedals. I agree with many other members that this is a very cheap and easy mod, which should be done to every X. Thanks to everyone who helped me locate the right screw. Also thanks to JV for the nice write up.

And pictures of the pedals that everyone has seen before.:)

Floor kind of dirty from all the metal shavings:mad: .

there was one in there that had ac schnitzer.....no e brake handles though. I was looking to put in AC Schnitzer pedals, brake handle, mats, and seatbelt pads. I have found everything but an ebrake handle (they are actually out there for about 175 but ill look for a replica)

NOVAX5 06-26-2007 11:51 AM

Whitewhip, when i installed my set last year I didn't even use the Ebrake. The funny thing is i let it go on ebay for 3 dollars with 5 dollars shipping. You are one step late to get a free one from me.

Nice mod.

Why didn't you use the ebrake handle? Also was your shift knob leather or rubber

Are those replicas the same as these?: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-E...QQcmdZViewItem

It seems authentic pedals are not cheap. They are about $300-$400 if you want all 3. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-G...QQcmdZViewItem

So authentic ones have holes in them and the fake ones have rubber inserts. I think I like the Fake/replica better, lol.

Here's mine installed. It says it was for an E36 but fits the X5 pretty well.
