BMW warranty 3,249 for 2yrs/75k miles!Ouch!
 

Then they offered a GE warranty for 3 years 75k miles for $3,450.00. Since I have about 30k that gives me 45kmiles of coverage and 3 years for $$3450.00

What do you guys think? I wanted to buy the BMW one but the coverage is to short in miles? I would be ok on the miles with BMW warranty but the two years is so short it will expire veru quickly and its cheaper at 3,249!

So BMW Warranty 2yrs 75k on odometer =3249
GE Warranty 3 years 75k on odometer= 3450

What would you do? Is 1 year extra for the GE worth 200 bucks? Or would you go with the BMW warranty then when it expires in 2 years buy another extended warranty with another company>?

Check with BMW of Macon to see what their pricing is on the BMW extended warranty ;)

Can they do it with out seeing the vehicle? Also its about the same for a 2 year BMW warranty than for a 3 year GE warranty. Both have 75k mile coverage however the big difference is the years, 2 years fro BMW and 3 years for the GE warranty.

Yes, they can do it without seeing the vehicle as long as they can see that you're the original owner and that the original factory warranty hasn't expired.

It basically boils down to convenience and guarantee that it'll be handled by BMW.
