Wow, I noticed the shoe I wonder if the foot is still in it

motordavid 06-28-2006 01:24 PM

Yeah, I noticed the sneaker in the debris...

He had to be hauling azz and impacted something pretty
severe. Sorta like that "pointey" front impact test the
Feds use now.

What a fookin mess.

I saw the shoe in the 1st pic and thought the leg was still attached!!!

Hopefully, these folks are OK.

Let's see what mods we can identify? I think I see alum RBs.

judging by how ripped up the driver seat is...my best guess would be that he most likely lost his legs....and the shoes a hit ....man its very unsettling. makes you think twice !!! Hope things are okay tho!

is ti me or there isnt any curtain airbags or well the driver airbag unit loooks f...ed up like ripped out...i can see the passangers but damn......

Looks As If It Was Parked And A Tank Ran Over It

Thunder22 06-28-2006 02:13 PM

i would guess either a head on collision, or a t-bone.

the drivers air bag is missing from the steering wheel, maybe it was rippped out trying to get at the driver.

Some details would be great...

The neighborhood looks very modest. It looks suburban. You'd need two vehicles closing at 70 mph each to create that much damage, no?

I am guessing the guy was trying to beat a commuter train, hit the brakes at the last second, tried to veer off, and the train whacked him and kicked the car back. Although, in the last picture, there is a truck behind the wreck and a debris field in the foreground as if they dragged it away from something. Just a guess. I think train because there is no other foreign sheet metal on the vehicle.

I attended an accident just as bad once. Car was in 3 main parts, much worse damage than the X pictured here. First looked like a car bomb. Estimated speed 130 mph + into a steel light pole. Both driver and passenger were unhurt. Walked away! At least until driver's wife arrived and found he had been "out" with his secretary.

I bet the insurance company won't even total it out. Some poor sap will be buying that truck somewhere.
