Telescopic Steering Wheel Lever...locked?
 

Would there be any reason...or code setting...that would prevent the telescopic wheel from moving towards me? I just noticed that it moves up, down, and back perfectly fine; but when I move the lever towards me, absolutely nothing happens. It doesn't even sound like the motor is being engaged.

Any thoughts? When I start and stop the ignition, the auto movement is working okay. I just can't move the wheel towards me.

Motor is bad? Mine only moves up and down, it won't me toward me or back at all. One day it did...but it only latest about 2 seconds. :tsk:

Hmm...do you know if there's a different motor for each direction? I would assume not, but that's just my inaccurate hunch. Was working fine a couple days ago, now it just stopped.

Mine wouldn't move up or down for a couple of days. Then all the sudden it was fine.:confused:

Ok...this is weird...but I'm not complaining. The steering wheel lever stopped working a few days ago. On my way home for work yesterday, I said "what the hell"...and tried it again. Worked like a charm.

I don't know what happenned, but I'm not touchin it again...
