keeping it cool when off?

I accidentally bumped into the "max" button on the climate control and the fan came on while the car was off.

is this an option to keep the car cool while you leave the car in the sun?

i must try this at some point...

Don't you have the aux ventilation control?

In summer, it blows to circulate air around while car is off. In winter, it uses left over heat from radiator to warm while the car is off. Circulate air in summer can be programmed to run as well.

I have the REST button where the MAX A/C button is. What does that mean?

Pretty much the same....it uses the heat in the engine bay to keep the temperature inside the car constant, when the engine is turned off..

If you have the MAX button on the climate control you do have it.

It's probably the newer models in the BMW line up that have the REST button...an update on the climate control....new 3 series has it for sure...
