OK so I'm on the X5 "bang'n" trip! Lovin it!!!

Again this site is KICK'n!.....yeah I'm a 35 yr old architect with a new toy!

So I've seen the 5-8 spoke staggered replica rims and they look awesome

the 5 spoke: sporty and agressive
the 8 spoke: traditional and sophisticated

OK two questions:

1. Do I stay with the trend and get the replicas?
2. Or do I go offline and get a aftermarket style? BLING BLING!!!
3. Chrome or Silver?

maybe you mean 7 spoke ( style 168)- these are staggered
and 5 spoke -- style 87s

What year is your X5? style 168 on a pre-facelift X5 don't look as good as style 87. Both are staggard.

I took a look at some 2006 at Peter Pan BMW with the "7-spoke" looked trick! but I wondering over toward the 5-spoke.
Comments on aftermarket?

I'm with the majority...87s look better on pre-04 X5s. The 168s look better on 2004-present. I had replicas on my '02 4.4i and found them to be a cost-effective option over OEM.
