Dealer told me it was "1 year free" like my 650i, Sirius says just two months?

The bigger issue is that there is no sound on the right side. F/R work fine, just nada on the right. AM/FM work normally. Likely just a loose connection somewhere?

No biggie, I'm confident the dealer will get it worked out. Also, my DICE setup will be here in a day or two :thumbup:

Hmmm.. sounds familiar.. My dealer told me a year free on my 06' X5 4.4. Not. Since he had written that free-deal down on one of my quote sheets, they ended up reimbursing me. Absent of that I'm pretty sure I would have been SOL.

FWIW, my experience with the X5 (with premium sound) is that the Sirius is sub-FM quality. I hope their integration is better with the 650i.

Maybe your salespeople confused it w/ BMW Assist? I think thats 1 year free, although in 2007 models, it'll be 4 yrs free and part of Premium package.

Closure..

The dealer replaced the Sirius receiver. Everything working great, the dealer also called Sirius and straightened out the subscription. My sub is 1 year, (confirmed on Sirius.com) For all I know, the dealer picked up the tab?

I'm happy with the sound... Sirius themselves need some help.. this outsourcing to India will only work if the people on the other end are fluent in english and can ditch the accent. It was very difficult to understand them.

You shouldn't be shocked... That's the rule, not the exception.

Dealer mistake - the new 3/5/6/7 BMWs include 1 year free Sirius. The Z4, X5 and e46 3-series are not included in this offer.
