I feel like a genuine X5 owner now; my first window regulator failed :)
 

I was letting my windows up the other day and my right rear window regulator failed with a loud pop (scared me actually). Nevertheless, now I feel like I fit in. I actually smiled a little when it happened, my first thought was, "Now it's official. I own an X5." Maybe it's a little silly, but I just thought I'd share.

Can someone tell me what happens when the window regulator fails?? does the window drop down and cannot be rolled up until fixed?

Yes...exactly!!! Knowing our luck, it will happen during the worst weathers :(

crazy,mine has been fine, I have the stereo blowing problem but so far no window issues!

what is the stereo blowing problem?
