I need help with a part
 

Ok so as several of you know my 2006 X5 3.0i is in the shop because of an unfortunate ottoman lol anyways so they are pulling off my hood vents (where washer jets are) as well as front grille, I'm having the front grille replaced with 4.4i ones and I'm looking to have the hood vents done too, however the service manager informed me he does not think they will work? Does anyone have input on this, my insurance is paying for them so I'm paying the difference and do not want to incur any additional labor charges should they not work?

Of course they will work. It wouldn't work only if the 3.0 and the 4.4 had different hoods. Your guy is a dork :rofl:
