Need help with the decision...ML350 or X5 3.0

I am giving my son the 2003 4Runner so my wife needs a new ride, well the X is mine obviously.

2006 ML 350 ~$44K with 5K miles

2006 X5 3.0 ~$46K with 2K miles

I am leaning towards the ML 350 since its less expensive and i already own an X. We will test drive both of them today. What do you guys think?

Get the ML. It'd be weird to have two x5 3.0s

The ML...

Why do you have a pic of my X in your signature?

What about an X3...they seem to be more wife friendly

Agree with J, Ben and SG...get the ML. Love the X, but hey, you already got one!

I dunno, the ML is supposed to be a boatload of problems. But 2 X5s in the driveway is wierd. How about you just break down and get a Honda? (jk)

X3 is a nice SAV if that's what your wife wants, and at that price you can get lots of goodies. I'm not a fan of the facelift, but that's always an option.......

If it's a choice between the ML and the X, go for the ML.
I would suggest getting a car from a different segment. Why have 2 SUV's/SAV's:dunno: Thought about the MB SLK, Z4 coupe, P Cayman, etc?

ML

Have ML320 & X5 both. I would go for X5 instead. $ to $, X5 just have better handling than ML. Relibility is another issue. May be Benz works out most of the problems for the newer model. Who knows?
