Spacers on 18"
Can you recommend some? 20, 30mm? What brand do you recommend?
I think I only need them in back, right? Thank u. |
Depends on what size wheels you are using with. I use 30mm H & R spacers with 18" wheels for winter shoes.

I have the oem style 58"s

LeMans, I was at a tire dealer this weekend and I inquired about spacers on 20's. The reply the guy gave me was surprising. He told me he would advise not doing spaces on the X5 due to all of the computer controls of stability and traction. He said the spacers would throw off the inputs form the wheels and the computer would be getting the wrong info. The amazing thing is this tire place is not a conservative place. It is the kind of place that sells 24 inch wheels!
Have you, or anyone else for that matter, heard anything like this? I had spacers on a 2001 Porsche C4 that were dealer installed so obviously that can't be bad in every situation. |
I was reading the H&R website and all their wheel spacers are not meant to be installed with self leveling air susp.
Anyone see any warning lights with the spacers on if u have the air susp.? |

As far as you know, is it also fine to use spacers with the 20's?
