Good price for 2002 3.0L?
 

Hi, I've been lurking around here as I am in the market for a used X5. I'm looking at 2002 3.0L models. Does $26K sound about right for one with 43K miles? It's got the usual options plus navigation.

Any tips on buying used are appreciated. I hope to join all of you soon. I currently have a 2002 E46, but am looking forward to adding an X5 to my stable.

That's not a bad price for one equipped with nav. Be sure to check the service history at the dealer, look for any signs that the vehicle may be repainted in any spots (a sign of prior accident damage), and of course do a Carfax on the vehicle as well.
