OBD Scanner
OK. Did my search, read the threads. Did not find a source for this scanner, and exactly how to hook it up. Sorry in advance if I missed it.:)
|
do a scan for "Actron". That's the brand of OBD scanner that I have. I picked up a used one on eBay a few years ago for about $50. It plugs into a port that is in the drivers side footwell under the dash.

Thanks.

How can I know which to get? I want one that I can scan all my cars, ls400 1995, Mitsubishi montero 2000, and BMW x5 4.4i 2003.
|
I have the Actron CP9135, which has worked in every car (post 1997) that I've ever tried it on.

AutoXray 6000 here. Great for updates and upgrades.

Never heard of any of these scanners, but then again, I haven't researched them...Will any of these do airbag and check-engine resets for BMW-specific OBD 2?
|
carsoft works well :)

I really wanted to try one to confirm before I take it in that there
are no codes before the stealer tells me there are none. |
I also bought Peake scanners for the BMW codes.
