you know... that's not big enough to put out any type of fires right?

not sure where it mounts to, but i would imagine its designed for the driver to be able to get it while seated... so under the dash/glove box or something... or even under the front driver's seat since the passenger's is supposed to have the first aid drawer..

Thanks for the replies. That does look better but also more complex, plus I already received the oem one, I'm just trying to figure out where it mounts. I believe is under the driver seat but I'm trying to make sure where before I start messing with it!!! I wonder if anyone here has access to the EBA or Options Install Manual from BMW. According to the packaging the instructions are on the EBA-CD : See EBA 0143523, EBA 9415169!!! Anyone?????

i was joking.. you don't want the one i have....

looks like the clips labeled #2 just clips into the front seat bar... do you have the parts in hand? just try putting in front of your seat to see how it would fit yet?

also, as suspected, it's so small, its pretty useless in putting anything larger then a cigarette butt out...

I always carry a similar sized one in my cars.

I have used it to put out an engine fire on my MR2 once.

And another time stopped to put out a car fire on someone elses car.

As long as you know what u are doing (point it at base of fire, etc, etc) they can still be life savers (or at least car savers). well worth it imho.
