August 2006 X Series Sales Report
 

August sales of the BMW X3 and X5 Series tanked again this month with total sales of only 5,368 units, down 35.2% from the 8,283 sold last August. YTD sales of the X Series were also down 16.3% when compared to the first 8 months of 2005.

For those of you who are interested Mercedes-Benz sold 5,981 trucks this month thanks to the addition of the R Class and GL Class that were not available last August. For the first 8 months of 2006 sales of MB trucks are up 86.9% when compared to the same period of 2005. Of the 41,394 MB trucks sold thru August, 2006, 52.8% were the new R Class and GL Class.
