Trim Question
 

Ok so this is pretty random. I was riding my friend's '04 3.0 this weekend, and at first was jealous that he had an '04 and nav...but I digress. He does not have the sport package. However he still has the two tone roof inside and does not have the chrome trim around the outside windows. I might be way off, but I thought you just got this with the sport package? Or were these included with the newer models? Thanks!

In the UK the chrome external trim can be deleted and the High gloss shadow line be taken if wanted. BTW Does he have colour coded door handles?

Yup, same color door handles.

Oh...I was mislead by the topic line of this thread...I thought we were talking about 'TRIM".

I dont even know where to go with that one. Dont want to be accused of posting dirty replies to the boards again.

So basically these are options? I was just so confused at the time. Granted I was drunk but hey...

Sweety the headliner on non sport pkg X5's is white (just like the 3 series) and the Chrome trim is deleted if you purchase Sport Package with heavy polish exterior trim

On a side note, it is important to always trim, noone likes excess hair!

OK kiddo you just confused me more. There was no chrome trim and no sport package on his. And if I can remember correctly, black leather with grey headliner (or could have been vice versa). But def not white. lol.

There is no grey hunny, STOP DRINKING :P, I've only seen white (NON-SP) and black (SP) did he have heavy polish black? If so he must have retrofitted it or bought it that way, it can be done and has been done many times, I had a Sterling Grey on Black X5 with SP and my headliner was black, I didn't have any other choices
