Waiting on my new (to me) 2006 4.8is
 

Hi folks,

Well my original plan of getting an e70 4.8 failed due to my new plan of the 2006 4.8is. I live in western ky and im buying the car from park ave bmw in new jersey. now just have to wait for it to get shipped down here.

My wife and I are excited about the car. It will be our first bmw. she has wanted an x5 for a long time, and im a performance junkie, so I splurged a little for the 06 over the 07. hopefully im making the right decision. the nice thing about this car is that it has the certified warranty to 100,000 miles. anyway here are some pics of it at the dealership. will post more when it is actually in my posession, hopefully in a week and half or so.

Im sure ill be coming back with many questions to all of you. this is a great forum with plenty of knowledge. take care. dustin.

I just bought an '06 4.8 about 2 weeks ago too, and that big V-8 is sweet! You're going to love driving it. The power, air adjust. ride ht., the exhaust note, etc. are awesome. Enjoy!

The 0-60 on 2006 4.8is is better than 4.8i. Good choice and welcome to 4.8is club.:thumbup:
