i was wondering what wheels everyone is putting on the oem 20's 4.6 wheels, additonally what are ya'll paying, and if anyone has any reccomnedations in the boston area that would be great too! thanks!

I bought and installed my Toyo Proxes in 'Liner Tire' on Boylston street:

They don't have latest balancing equipment.

Cost with balancing - $953

I actually find Liner to be quite expensive as compared to other local tire shops, and they do have old equipment...

If you search under Tires, Michelin, Toyo, etc... you will find that there has been extensive discussion about tires on this site!

I find Hogan Tire in Waltham to have much better prices, although if Walmart carries the size you are looking for by chance, they are the cheapest by far...

I've go between getting the originally installed Michelin Diamaris on line at Tire Rack and Discount Tire. Usually both offer free shipping at one time or another and both often have arrangements where you can have them shipped to any number of local installers.

Haven't tried Toyo's yet, but recently put them on my M3 and may give them a shot on the X5 next time around. Can't get Toyo's at Tire Rack or Discount.
