Fault code 8F (table 19) - DM TL leak detected

Anyone have a clue what this is? My X5 service engine soon light came on. Peake Research diag tool reads fault code 8F on table 19 which is apparently a DM TL leak, whatever that means.

I'd love to have an idea before I take it in so any suggestions or references would be very appreciated
