Dropping ride height - 4.8is

Hi All,

Just wanted to know that with the air suspension in the 4.8is (without changing springs etc) can you drop the ride height permanently, ie, is there a permanent computer setting the dealer can put in the car, at the service center. Btw, I live in Australia (if it makes a difference)

Your dealer can drop your ride height using the DIS to adjust it. Some dealers however wont do it, some will oinly lower so far it just depends on the dealer.

With the 4.8 lowering using the DIS is a bit hit and miss, one common problem I have seen is the X automatically re-adjusts itself when driving or you get sensor warnings that keep coming on.

Your probably better off doing it properly with the springs etc.

Intrax suspension makes a module that will keep the suspension at the lower setting. A member on the board has it(Imola4.8is), I think.
