Angel ibright installation question
1 Attachment(s)
I want to install the angelibright AE lights and the install is supposed to take "5 minutes" but my x5 4.4i 2004 has a couple bolted fluid tanks in the way of the bulb. How can I get around it (I'm technically challenged). Can Dave or anyone else post instructions before I buy so I can decide if I really want to tackle this install?
|
If you take out the bolts that hold the tanks in place, you can move it enough so you can get to it.

Thanks! Now here's the part where I'm technically challenged:
Which bolts should I remove? The 3 big ones in front? The smaller ones? Do I move the fluid tanks to the back or to the center? I'm a computer guy, not a nut and bolt guy :( |

Is it possible for anyone to mark the bolts that need to be unscrewed on the picture provided. Thanks.

I personally have done many installs where removing any of the screws was unnecessary. Its tight space, but it can be done.
Seriously doubt the install would take anyone more then 20min if they had no idea what to do, or where anything is...but we do provide detailed illustrated instuctions! Ofcourse anytime during install you could call us at 800-6200-BMW and we would talk you through it. Dave |
Hi Dave,
2 questions. 1. Can you provide the illustrated instructions (pdf or jpg) before I buy? 2. In the pics, how are the angel eyes on alone without the side lights on? When I put my 2004 4.4i into low light the angel eyes are on with the side (orange lights) on and not alone. thanks, Sammy |

if you remove the smaller ones in yellow you can push it back further and you'll have more space,,, installation would be MUCH easier. |
