does the newer x5 Cd player play MP3's?

I was wondering if the later X5's had the ability to play MP3 CDs. I know that the 05 e46 3 series could play them. I was just trying to find some alternatives to an aux input for mp3's.

Yes. Check on ebay. There is a guy that has pretty good deals on them.

Can I swap out the CD Deck (the one with DSP) from an 05 and put it in my 01 ?
