Removing OEM Crossbars
2 Attachment(s)
I'm trying to remove my OEM crossbars, but I lost the keycode and also I lost the wrench that came with the crossbars. I called a dealership and they told me I needed the keycode, so does this mean each wrench is unique? I heard from another person they used to sell the wrench tool set but is no longer made available.
If anyone knows how I can remove this without damaging it please let me know! I just spent a lot of $ on a Thule crossbar and I can't even put them on. |
Did you ever get these off? I have a key for my setup. I heard there was only 3 different keys. You can try mine if it works, just send it back to me when you're done. But I'm sure you figured out a way by now. BTW, I'm looking for rack like yours for my X5.
