Something for Nothing

I brought my car into the dealership for 2 reasons I was experiencing rough downshifting when driving and when I would slow down and and quickly re-accelerate the car would respond lazily. So after reading some threads on this forum..I called the stealer and they told me about an upgrade for the computer and transmission.. All I can say is WOW what a difference...when driving now I cannot even tell when the gears are changing and it responds much better....so if you experience any of the above.....go check your dealer out. Also there was a recall on the 04 for replacing the crankcase vents....and with that they topped of my gas.....I got 3/4's of a tank of gas from the dealer.....NO CHARGE

Also I did the Dinan CAI will post pics this weekend after a bath and wax....

Cheers

Im one of the nutjobs here that would get mad if anyone filled my tank, cleaned my car, changed my oil, ect, without me knowing and clarifying...

Too many variables, what if the dealer puts in a low octane fuel (I know my dealer does, CA put it into a demo car while taking me for a test drive). Its dumb, but hey, we're all looney for something.

Tell us about the cai change in performance...

The only thing noticable is the extra growl from the engine at hight rpm...in my case it does get lost tho with the sound from the race exhaust....I will post some more findings after the weekend....
