Don't bring it to CT looking so good. Some fool will key it for you! The idiots round here just hate it when somebody other than they have something nice.

I like the conversion you did looks great

Thanks for all the compliments guys! It's been a long run since I bought it in 02. Came loaded with everything for that model year except NAV...so I retrofitted the entire NAV system with the MKIV. Then I put in Satellite radio, Bluetooth, Rear camera, TV, DVD, MP3, etc., all which were not options for the 02 model year.

Work on the outside included the 4.6is body kit, exhaust tips and 20" wheels. Most recent toys include a Valentine 1 and Sport heated steering wheel. Next on the list is HID fogs! Then I can truly say it's 'fully loaded.'

Did just about the same amount of work on my 540i too which is a blast to drive with SMG paddleshifts!

nice conversion.. as far as your exhaust goes are the tips is it an easy install and what part# is it? i want to put them on my 04 when i get the 4.8is body kit.

Looking good! I think my X was that clean only twice this year.

Nice. Love those pipes!

Keeping it clean; thats the best mod there is. That and a photo of Jessica Simpson on the dash.....

X5Jay 10-17-2006 06:41 PM

Your X looks great! That's quite the indoor do-it-yourself car wash place too! Where is that? I wish that had those around here for winter-time washing...

King 10-18-2006 06:20 PM

DVS: just get your local dealer to look up the part number for those exhaust tips. I bought them a while ago, but they're not difficult to order in. Must warn you though...they are kinda' pricey. And then of course you have to take both exhausts off completely to weld them on. Do a search...a few have done the same mod here!

X5Jay: I'm in Canada! It's just another car wash place around the corner from home. I usually go late when there's less traffic. Place is a rip-off though...dollar runs out before you can count to ten!

Zulu95: Yes I know what you mean. When I lived downtown, my 3 series got vandalized all the time. Broken lights, bent wipers, big circle keyed into the hood...all for no other reason but jealousy! Glad I moved away from there and have a garage now!

Streetsoffire: Yeah Jessica would look better in the passenger seat!;)
