I got my Hoen white Fog lights just now. Here are the before and after pics. Note that I also have the angelibright upgrade from a few weeks back.



If anyone can tell me how to open my main headlights to clean the dust out that would be great too (red arrow).



Oh, the hoen bulbs come with a free sunglasses holder if you don’t mind their logo too much.

Looks great! Nice install... how hard was it to replace the fog light bulbs, I have been meaning to do mine. The anglebrights are SICK!

Hi, nice upgrades on the lights. Just visited the website of Hoen. Can you advise which bulb did u purchase? H11 or H7? appreciated some pointers.

Hi Kvin,
I would determine the type of bulbs you have first before ordering. Hoen does have a table that specifes what model fits which cars but it takes literally 2 minutes to check the fog lights.

Are you guys replacing the factory angel eyes? Are these much brighter or something? I thought the 4.8 came with angel eyes?

Cue03. They come with angel eyes but the factory bulbs are yellow. We're replacing the bulbs for white ones.

I thought a lot of Angel ibrights have a defect where both of them or just one of them is flickering. You must be lucky :)

They do flicker when I start the engine. I just live with it.

I already ordered mine but some ppl are telling me that aftermarket bulbs tend to burn up the wire harnesses....

PLEASE ADVISE......anyone have them for a while on their truck?

Anyone upgrade their high beams to HID? Which company makes the best match to the low beams?

I would also like to know more about the lifespan of these kits. What is exactly provided in the kit? Light bulbs? Do they come with a ballast, or does it use factory parts. The angel eye kit on my M3 can be problematic sometimes, but ite bearable. Im new to the X5world, so id love to get a bit more info. Thanks:thumbup:

Anyone install Hoen's xenonmatch high beams?

Nevermind. I didn't realize my high beams were xenon. I assumed that they weren't b/c my Lexus has Xenon low beams but the high beams are not. :confused:

How well in person, would you say the Hoen's match with Xenon's?

I don't think Halogens can EVER match the look of xenons matching xenons. Check out my thread:

Which color did you go with? White, bright white, etc.?

Well, in some of my pictures they look "blue" but I'd have to say and swear that in person these are pure white at 6500K. Things appear much brighter in the lens of a camera :\. They appear most like the off-center closeup pictures.

guys i just put the hoen's on and in the begining i was not happy.....but once the HID's warmed up, the look seems great......looks really good actually........:thumbup:
