Problem of Video Module
 

Hi all! I just bought a used video module from Ebay to replace my dead one. After I installed it, I found that the video was very unstable, it flashed in a high frequency virtically. Just like below pictures. My x is 12/2000 made 4.4i sports package with 4:3 onboard monitor, no Navi system equipped. The dead module part number is 6911221 which is the original one, the one I bought from ebay part number is 8375553 which I think is an older version than the dead one. Does anyone know what the problem it is? Is there any way to tune the video to make the screen stable? Any input is appreciated!

There should be a menu option to select the country you are located in. Have you checked to make sure it is set properly?

If so and you still have a problem then it is likely one of two things. Either the video module you purchased has a problem, or the vehicle wiring harness has a problem.

Thanks for your reply, El Jeffe! Can you tell me how can I select the country in the menu? Where can I reach the option in the menu? I have already set the country to Hong Kong in Television option, is there any other option refering country setting in the menu? Thanks!
