I agree it really sucks but you have no case, its the law here in Cali and while its not really enforced the cop was not incorrect, I got slammed once and put it on the next day

Yeah they look bad with them, so do many Chrysler cars, I remember reading an article saying how Chrysler's designs are so anti-front plate, my dad's work Intrepid looks so dumb with it! (of coarse its black so I call it the cockroach)

I've never seen a vette with one besides the vette logo. My uncle has one vette for 4 years and never had a problem with it.

I feel for you Ben but you have no case :(

Lets look at it from the correct perspective. Are you suppose to have a plate mounted on the front of your vehicle by law?

How about fixing it the first time you get cited? Oh I know everyone else is doing so I shouldn't be cited instead i should keep doing it.? Yeah right.

Come on if it's the law how can that be BS?

Now your on the right track. Get it installed. Save yourself the aggrivation.

Who knows if he does or not but one things for sure he got your attention. Now if he could only get the attention of others who disobey minor infractions perhaps it would be a better world. Don't get upset about the fact that others seem to get away with something. Just do your part and do the right thing.

I see what you are saying but it still upsets me that it happened to me three times by the same exact officer in such a short amount of time. I ordered the part already and should be here in 4 days.

I got a warning just after I moved to Denver but the car at the time still had CA tags on it. The lady at DMV specifically stated they had to be mounted at the License plate locations on the front and rear of the bumper in plain site. The lovely differences between states laws, I do like CO DMV in and out in 15 minutes versus the 3+ hours in CA.
