Hey Big Easy, I just got an email back from bavauto, and they have full and half bras for a 2005 X5 for 89 bucks...OEM's as well..They are normally 109, but on sale this and next week...

If you want a vinyl bra for your X5, the Colgan Sport bra is pretty good. It covers the hood and grille whereas the full bra comes with a second piece that covers the lower front. I'd consider getting the Colgan mirror bras too for another $29.

I prefer clear bras as well but if your front end is already old and suffered some damage then a clear bra might not be right for you.

Only Arnie Becker, Bo Darville, Francis Poncherello, Kenny Dantley, E.L. 'Tenspeed' Turner, Michael Knight, Tom Magnum and Sonny Crockett would put a vinyl bra on their car.

PS - Can anyone name their shows/movies and the cars they drove (including make and model) extra respect if you can do so without the internet.

Arnie Becker drove a old G series 911 cabrio, white with blue I believe, until some pissed off client crushed it or something like that. I think he got a Jaguar XJS cabrio after that.

Ponch had a sweet gold Firebird with a CHP radio in it. He'd call from "Ponch's Firebird". His redneck partner Jon Baker drove a lifted blue Chebby truck with cool stripes on the side.

Magnum drove both a 308 then a 328. He would occasionally drive the Masters' Blazer as well. TC drove a bumble bee VW van and Rick drove a Mercedes 450SL. Higgins drove the Masters' Audi.

Michael Knight did not drive a Trans Am. It was a Knight 2000, which waaaay better than just a Trans Am. And if you knew anything, the Knight 2000 didn't need a vinyl bra because it had a special indestructible paint capable of repelling bullets. So there. :p

Dantely was Corvette Summer, So I think it was a Vette. He was also red five in A New Hope and has a twin sister from Padme and Vader.
