Anyone ever see this. I'd like to put something over the black window switches, but this is out'a control!

yeah, i agree. this is way too much. i thought about doing this swap a while ago, but there's no way i'm paying $800.

Just would like to have aluminum for the switch covers peronally.

$700, no thanks. That's almost a set of auto-x tires for the M3. There are other ways to spend that $$.

I have titanium trim in my 4.6 but it doesnt look as dark as the one in ebay? Plus I checked the BMW parts system and it only lists the one color for titanium so a bit confused.

noncom23 10-24-2006 04:31 PM

Me too. Nice to have something that matches the silver on the door handles.
Porsche had kits like that.

Sudesh 10-24-2006 04:39 PM

My trim does match the door handles perfectly! The one on ebay look darker.

Sudesh 10-24-2006 04:42 PM

Take a look at my titanium trim. Note the exact match of the door handles etc.

Thats it. Did that package have window switch plates? How about the source? Looks great,BTW!

Sudesh 10-24-2006 04:50 PM

Sorry for the SILLY question but what do you mean by window switch plates and source???

noncom23 10-24-2006 04:56 PM

No. I probably named it wrong. The covers on the window switches on the doors.

Sudesh 10-24-2006 04:59 PM

On ok! My 4.6 came with the titanium option as standard from new, and going by the BMW system there are NO window switch titanium trim surround.

noncom23 10-24-2006 05:02 PM

Thx for the input. Sudesh.

No problem!! I would just be careful with what the guy is selling on ebay as, I have heard where people bought the titanium trim, and it turned out it was a respray job. Thats why I'm confused about the color of the trim the guy is selling on ebay. Plus My dad, myself and my cousin all have 4.6is, and they all have titanium trim from BMW which is all the same color. I would ask the guy for part numbers just to see.....

noncom23 10-24-2006 05:09 PM

Thx!

I think that guy is a pretty reputable seller of OEM BMW parts though......I think it might be the lighting in the picture. I'm not 100%, but he sells a lot of OEM stuff. He does sell most of it a lot higher than what you can get if for at other places though.......
