I called tons of salvage yards about the hood and fenders, basically they all told me you won't find them. Since the X5 hood comes down in the front (where the kidney grills are) it is almost always damaged, also when there is rear end damage, and the front is intact (which you want), they sell the front end as an entire clip, which is more expensive than buying just the hoood and fenders. Lastly it is cheaper for a body shop to paint new/oem parts than to do any body work (which will be necessary for the hood b/c of highway rock chips). So it will basically cost the same as getting them new. Join the BCCA and get 20% off your new parts and enjoy the facelift, hope this helps. Also I recommend getting the 2004-2006 headlight plugs before doing the facelift so you don't have to drive around without working headlights like I do, I let you know about the part # once I get them.

Could you please send me more pics of your X. I just got out of my modded M3 and picked an X up for the winter, but saw yours and would like to know more about it. [email protected] Thanks |

That wiring should work fine, but i dont know much about wiring. I think youre ok if you can keep the moisture out. The parts were, about 700 for the hood and 300 each fender 20% of that off should be about 1000 total. If you shop around i found prices under 300 for the fenders and around 600 for the hood. Good luck

What am I missing you had 05 lights and purchased 06 lights.
Now selling the 05 lights? |
I bought one 05 adaptive headlight and planned on buying another. But realized that the cost of adding the adaptive feature would be to much for me. So I ended up buying a set of 06 Xenon non-adaptive headlights. Hence I need to sell the one adaptive headlight. ;}
