New mod- braided steel brake hoses

2 Attachment(s)
Even though I hated on these in the past, I needed to see what they were all about.

Hoses are StopTech from X5 World proud sponsor Zeckhausen.

Install took an hour and a half (including bleeding the brakes after). Pedal feels nice and firm now. At least I know I have the pretty brake hoses, even if no one else can see them!

Although very pretty, that is actually a very functional mod. Looks great!

ps. I assume you are pleased with the quality and fittings?

Was there really that much difference? Perhaps some of the additional firmness was due to the change and bleed of the fluid. I installed braided SS lines in my 330xi but didn't notice that much difference. The fluid coming out wasn't that old at the time.

I was wondering the same thing. The fluid wasn't that old on mine either. The pedal is noticeably firmer, but I'm telling myself that it's the braided hoses:D
