New member...just got a 4.8is (Need help with tires)

Hello everybody
Ive been a member on the M3forum.net for a while now. I just got my hands on my dad's 2005 4.8is cause he bought a new toy for himself. Works out great for me considering my M3 isnt very good/fun to drive in the winter/rain. But ive noticed the Michelin Diamaris (stock 20'') tires dont really grip that well in the wet either. Im looking to buy some good all season tires for the stock 20'' rims. Only thing ive come up with on tire rack's website is the Michelin "Latitude Tour HP" which are the same size as the OEM tires 275/40/20 front and 315/35/20 rear. Im sure this topic has been discussed a lot before, but i figured it would be a good opportunity for me to say hello to all the current members, and share my excitement of getting this new beast. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers:beerchug:

Snap some pics of that bad boy when you get a minute. what color interior do you have. I am in the process of tracking down one myself.

Use the search engine, there are a ton of write ups on tires that should really give you some impressions. And do post pics when you have a chance, LeMans Blue is an awesome color!!

Thanks...the M3 has been updated quite a bit since that pic was taken. LED rear lights, new 4 tip titanium xhaust, and a bunch of other stuff.

I just finished searching. My eyeballs are bout to fall out...lol Unfortunately, i didnt find what i was looking for. Most of the members switch to smaller rims and tires in the winter. Our winters here in Beirut are not that bad, just really wet. So id like to stick to my original staggered 20'' wheels. Thats when it starts getting more difficult to find all season tires. I dont want winter tires. I want to be able to keep em on till its time to get a new set. Anyone have any suggestions?

By the way Wagner...love ur sig:drool:

Your only other choice for all-season in staggered 20s would be the Toyo Proxes S/T. There isn't much choices for all-season in the OEM staggered sizes.
