X5 Blues
The more I visit this excellent facility the more deflated I become.
It would be heartening to know if BMW ever visit this site and utilise it as a resource to address the variety of problems that owners experience. I am astonished at the number of component failures and the difficulty owners experience in getting faults rectified, thank my lucky stars that people are willing to share their experiences and knowledge. Keep up the excellent communication, maybe BMW are listening and we will see an improvement in product reliability. Gravy |
Keep note: people on this board (and others) tend to be persnickety perfectionists who want everything to be perfect on their BMW. We exaggerate problems and don't give BMW due credit for engineering great vehicles.

Knock on wood...but I've had the BEST experience with my BMW dealership.
I wanted a new sunroof (no leak) bc I HATED (hated!) the rattle I was hearing at high speeds. Instead of test driving it and "searching" for the problem I was told, "We're just going to replace it bc it's probably annoying." I know that may be minute to some, but my X is so quiet now...ME LOVES HER! |

The truth: No heels, but it was a male advisor (as most are at this particular dealership). I get the "cool" treatment bc they LOVE the 4.8is wheels on my 3.0i...they like the fact that a girl owning the X changed the wheels and tires. Everytime I'm there someone else is asking me about it...its quite funny! |
